Description
Kedarnath, located at 3,583 meters, is one of the holiest Shiva temples and a part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage. The Kedarnath Temple, believed to have been built by Adi Shankaracharya, is home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Set against the majestic Kedarnath range, the temple can only be reached via a 16 km trek from Gaurikund or by helicopter. It is a site of immense devotion, where pilgrims seek blessings for liberation and spiritual fulfillment.
